Hi Cruisers, In this video we try something a little new, and take you for a walk around the Queen Mary Hotel promenade. We are just starting to use our Insta360 One video camera, so bare with us. Watching this Insta360 video sample of the Queen Mary Hotel promenade, I can see a few things I could have done better, or at least different. In future 360 videos I will try to resist the urge to “point” the camera. Instead I’ll leave the focal point of the video up to the viewer to choose. That said, it was a lot of fun doing this Queen Mary 360 tour. Oh, and yes, it is a bit bumpy (my fault), but that’s something else I can work on. Also, it was a bit of a dark dreary day in Long Beach, and the Insta360 doesn’t do super well in low light. So, we’ll just have to deal with that little bit of grain in the video. Overall I think we are happy with taking a few steps in the direction of producing more 360 video. BTW – we had planned on doing a full walk around the Queen Mary for a full “Queen Mary Ship Tour”, but there were a lot of areas closed off for renovation, and it was raining quite a bit. Hi Cruisers, Here’s a quick tour of our cabin, or family stateroom,at the Queen Mary Hotel. Apologies for the video quality. I took this with my iPhone at the last minute, but I thought it might be useful for anyone considering a stay at the Queen Mary Hotel. We took a spontaneous little trip, and stayed in room A181 on the Queen Mary. There are tons of fun things to do and see at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. During our stay they were having the Chill event, and despite the last day crowds we had a terrific time. We also took the Haunted Encounters tour, and that was super fun. We also tried out our new 360 camera here with a livestream vlog from the Queen Mary. You can see that here: https://youtu.be/bb5ilLnPE8k
Hi Cruisers, It’s Sheri from CruiseTipsTV with a look at room 8254 at Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe. We’ll start back here with the couch and extra bed. Behind us is the lovely balcony, which we’ll get back to shortly. First let’s take a look at these two beds.
